Border Cheviot

The Cheviot originated in the Cheviot Hills on the border of England and Scotland. The Cheviot can survive the harsher conditions on the windswept hills and is considered a hardy hill breed and the Cheviot is an excellent forager. They have a broad, level back and strong wide set legs, their clean face and small upright ears are covered with white hair, and they have a quick and alert manner.
